location of the dial on a scale of 0-100%

Barometric Pressure
Downeaster offers different movements for measuring Barometric Pressure. The dual scale
dial reads in inches (28.5 to 31.5) and millibars. The Classic and Weatherhelm series use
standard sea level barometer movements. The Medallion and Seafarer utilize sensitive
movements for all altitudes.

Rainfall
Rainfall is indicated on a digital display that registers rain in .01 (one hundredth)
inches surrounded by a dial with inches/cm conversion table. The dual memory keeps track
of the current rain event. A push of the button zeros the memory for the next rain event.
The second memory is an annual memory to retain the total rainfall for the year. It can be zeroed at the New Year for the next year or you may choose your own time increments for
resetting. | |

Tide Clocks
Tides are due to the gravitational pull of the sun & primarily the moon on the Earth's surface. Most areas of the world have diuranl tides, a high tide every 12 hours 51 min.
Tide Clocks incorporate a battery operated movement that keeps lunar time relating to the
movement of the tides-12 hours 51 min. Set to your favorite beach, harbor, fishing area or wherever you want to track the average tide cycle.
